Panamarenko, one of this country’s most original contemporary artists, is an innovator in every way. His artworks, though frequently underpinned by scientific calculations, appeal to the viewer’s imagination and sense of adventure.

The exhibition at M HKA surveyed his art from its earliest beginnings, when the seeds of his later practice were already visible, to the present day. It sets out to capture Panamarenko’s universe in its entirety, with every planet and satellite. A challenging ambition worthy of its subject.
