Lara Gasparotto (Liège, 1989) is one of today’s most fascinating photographers. She graduated at the Saint-Luc École Supérieure des Arts (Liège). She lives and works in Brussels.

Her photographs are permeated with beauty and intimacy. Gasparotto often photographs the young people around her, but she also has an unmatched ability to distil the atmosphere of landscapes and interiors. Her pictures reveal her love of the countryside in which she grew up and to which she frequently returns, also during her many journeys.
She already exhibited at the “Biennale de la Photographie de Liège” and at Photo Breda, at the Bonnefantenmuseum, Guandong Museum of Arts (Guangzhou), 3 Shadows Arts Center (Beijing) and OCT Arts Center (Shenzhen). On December 17^th, 2016 she will have a solo show at the Photo Museum, The Hague.
